There is no let up of violence in Itang and its surrounding. The Anyuak have attacked Makot again trying to kill as many Nuer as they could get in coldblood, But the locals were alert and when they saw the Anyuak, gun fight erupted. The Anyuaks were since repulsed back to theur villages.

There was no report of injuries or death from both sides. The Nuer did not chase the Anyuak up to their villages which is surrounded by the Ethiopian Defense Force. Many argue that the ENDF is used as a launching pad by the Anyuak on their fight against the Nuer.
