The SPLA has become the biggest terrorist organisation the world has ever seen. Starting with the killing of more than 17,000 Nuers in Juba, in December last year, some of which were burnt alive,  more than 160 people were killed today, the biggest single loss of Nuer civilians after the Juba mascara.

With the killing of civilians in the UN compound, there is no question that South Sudan has met all the criteria of a failed state. But worst of these is the thinking of the IDPs who were led to believe that they were safe and being protected. However, they were let down by the UN whose existence in the compound was to protect these civilians.
