Report has just been heard that two refugees were shot and wounded while working in their farms in Nguenyiel. This is not the first time the Anyuak targetted refugees while working in farms.  The Nuer Refugees from South Sudan who have sought protection in Ethiopia have indiscrimanately been attacked by the Anyuak

On July 9,2024. three refugees were killed in Jewi camp and three were badly wounded. Killing of the refugees by Anyuak is daily routine for them. In June, two refugees were killed in the same Jewi camp. The Situation for the Nuer refugees in all refugees cams us tense, Refugees cannot travel out of the camp or they risk loosing their lives.
