The killing spree has not stopped yet. Last night, gun men believed to be of Anyuak extremist who do not want Nuer in Gambella whether they are refugee or citizens have attacked the camp. Two women were in the house and they were fired upon killing them instantly. One of the women’s child was also seriously wounded now fighting for life in Fugnido Health Centre.

There has not been any reprieve on the killing of the Nuer by Anyuaks. Despite the the Federal Goverment’s stand tto welcome refugee with open hands, the Anyuaks extremists have resorted to violence creating fear and terror in the hope that insecurity become an issue for the Nuer in Gambella to the point where they would not be able to live in Gambella whether they are refugees or not.

This is not the first time the Anyuak have killed refugees. They killed so many of them. One of the worst killing was the Alellewero dam in Abobo where they asked all the passengers to come down and put Nuer Refugees aside where they mutilated their bodies.
