A tragic incident occurred two hours ago in Jabjab, Gambella resulting in the death of one individual

One dead in Jabjab

following a violent attack on a group of Nuer men who had gone to the area for bathing.

Eyewitness accounts suggest that the assailants are believed to be members of the Anyuak community, as gunfire was reported to have originated from their vicinity. The victim’s body has since been transported to the local primary hospital for examination and further investigation.
