As far as education knowledge is concerned, Gambella is no longer shortage of education because many people now in the region are not only finishing their high schools but also they are taking up degrees and diplomas across the nation. This might be enough if we only give due emphasis on people with degrees however there need to be a targeted field which many Indigenous should put due consideration on. The medical field and the construction industry attract only few students in Gambella.

Many indigenous Gambellians are highly concentrated in teaching, law and economic professions while highly underrepresented in health and construction industries. To fix this the Gambella National and regional state government would need to address these vacuums so that there is no gap in any of the sector.
